Own LexDana's platform architecture end to end and set the engineering bar for an AI-multiplied team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an A-player who codes daily and builds for scale.
What you'll own
- Platform architecture end to end — the data-processing pipeline, graph database, retrieval, and the MCP layer.
- Staying hands-on: ship code daily and use AI to multiply your output and the team's.
- Leading and growing the engineering team, and bringing architecture and institutional knowledge fully in-house and well-documented.
- Reliability and answer-accuracy targets for the product.
- Build-versus-buy and infrastructure decisions — graph engine, hosting, and cost efficiency.
- Translating the product vision into a technical roadmap, and supporting technical diligence for fundraising.
What we look for
- A genuine A-player who is AI-capable and uses AI as a multiplier — this is a must.
- Someone who takes ownership and delivers, end to end.
- Depth across data systems, retrieval, and applied AI.
Compensation
Competitive base plus meaningful equity for the right person (4-year vest).
